PVC pipes are used in pressure and non-pressure applications for building and industrial uses, water reticulation and irrigation. PVC pipes have been widely used in NZ for the past 50 years and are known for their long life, corrosion resistance, stability, strength to weight ratio, along with their ease of installation and handling.

The resins used in the manufacture of pressure pipes do not contain plasticisers and are known as PVC-U.

Pipes and electrical conduit can be manufactured using various production techniques. Modern manufacturing technologies enable lighter weight production and the use of recycled PVC in multi- layer applications.

Developments in PVC pressure pipe technology has led to the introduction of Orientated and Modified PVC pipe systems which meet specific market requirements.

PVC pipes can be manufactured in diameter sizes up to 600mm
