This Recycling Week, from 20th to 26th October, Plastics NZ wants to shine a spotlight on the work our members are doing to improve the circularity of plastics - especially that relating to redesign, recovery and recycling, and circularity. We want to celebrate the strides our industry is making—and inspire others to raise the bar.
One standout Members initiative will receive a $2,000 contribution toward the production of a video case study to be launched on Global Recycling Day (18th March 2026).
Are you part of a project that’s making a measurable difference in the circularity of plastics made or used in New Zealand? Whether you're a recycler, manufacturer, brand owner, designer, or innovator, we want to showcase your story.
What We’re Looking For: 
- Innovations in design for recyclability
- Breakthroughs in plastics collection, sorting, reprocessing or remanufacture
- Community or corporate initiatives tackling plastic waste

How to Participate
Share your company's design-for-recyclability or recycling story by downloading and completing our short form. Please keep your answers brief and focused on clear, practical examples of what's being recycled, where it's going and the impact achieved. If you've already got a case study that answers all of the questions in the form, you can also submit this.
