Let’s Make a Difference Together!
Join the NZ plastics industry in our annual Operation Clean-Up Week during 11- 15th November 2025.
Come along to one of the events for as much time as you can give. Help to improve your local environment and meet other members of the manufacturing and business community, while giving back to your local communities. A great team building and networking opportunity while having fun and keeping our environment pollution-free!
Branch Events:
- Tuesday, 12th Nov
- Hawkes Bay: 2pm - 4pm, Location TBC
- Wednesday, 13th Nov:
- Rosebank: 10 am – 12 pm, meet at Saunders Reserve
- Christchurch: 2 pm – 4 pm, meet at EPL car park
- Thursday, 14th Nov:
- East Tamaki: 10 am – 12 pm, meet at Lady Fisher Place car park
- Hamilton: 1 pm – 3 pm, meet at Beetham Park car park
- Friday, 15th Nov:
- Albany: 10 am – 12 pm, meet at Hooton Reserve car park
Not close to any of these events?
If you would like to get involved but are not located close to any of the branch events, please reach out for advice around setting up your own clean up – we’re happy to help! A huge shout out to the companies who have picked up the mantel in some regional areas already. 3R Group will be hosting a clean-up in Hawkes Bay on Tuesday, 12th November from 2pm – 4pm (location details to come) and Uniplas will be arranging their own clean up in Wellinton!
Plastics New Zealand’s National Office aren’t above getting stuck in either. We will be donning the gloves on Monday 11th November to kick the week of cleaning off. After a hefty haul last year, we’re eager to see whether our Freight Place clean-up has had lasting impacts…
All Hands on Deck
To make sure we’re driving as much engagement as possible, we are working with local business associations to spread the word and get more hands-on deck at the branch events. Early registrations are rolling in, and we’d love to see your company name added to the list!
Food, Fun, and Friendly Competition!
After the hard work is done, we’re keen to celebrate with a sausage sizzle/refreshments – because what’s a clean-up without a good feed afterwards? Get your registrations in early so we can make assess numbers for kai!
For a bit of fun, we’ll also be hosting a friendly competition with a prize for the "weirdest find" – so keep your eyes peeled while you’re out cleaning!
