Let’s Make a Difference Together!
Plastics New Zealand is excited to invite you to participate in our annual Clean-Up Week during the week starting Monday 11th November.

This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, make a tangible difference, and enjoy some community spirit. Whether you’re part of a big branch event or running your own company-specific clean-up, every effort counts in keeping our environment pollution-free!

Not close to any of these events?

If you would like to get involved but are not located close to any of the branch events, please reach out for advice around setting up your own clean up – we’re happy to help! A huge shout out to the companies who have picked up the mantel in some regional areas already. 3R Group will be hosting a clean-up in Hawkes Bay on Tuesday, 12th November from 3pm – 5pm (location details to come) and Uniplas will be arranging their own clean up in Wellinton!

Plastics New Zealand’s National Office aren’t above getting stuck in either. We will be donning the gloves on Monday 11th November to kick the week of cleaning off. After a hefty haul last year, we’re eager to see whether our Freight Place clean-up has had lasting impacts…

All Hands on Deck

To make sure we’re driving as much engagement as possible, we are working with local business associations to spread the word and get more hands-on deck at the branch events. Early registrations are rolling in, and we’d love to see your company name added to the list!

Food, Fun, and Friendly Competition!

After the hard work is done, we’re keen to celebrate with a sausage sizzle/refreshments – because what’s a clean-up without a good feed afterwards? Get your registrations in early so we can make assess numbers for kai!

For a bit of fun, we’ll also be hosting a friendly competition with a prize for the "weirdest find" – so keep your eyes peeled while you’re out cleaning!
