Share Your Plastics Circularity Story This Recycling Week

19th - 25th October 2026

From 19–25 October, we want to celebrate the progress our members are making in redesign, recovery, recycling and circularity - and inspire others across the industry to raise the bar.

Is your project making a difference?

Whether you’re a recycler, manufacturer, brand owner, designer or innovator, we want to hear about the work you’re doing to improve the circularity of plastics made or used in New Zealand.

We’ll showcase selected stories as news features on the Plastics NZ website and LinkedIn page during Recycling Week.

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear about:

  • Design innovations that improve recyclability

  • Breakthroughs in collection, sorting, reprocessing or remanufacturing

  • Community and corporate initiatives tackling plastic waste

  • Practical examples of how plastics are being recovered, recycled and kept in use

  • Inspire change. Lead the conversation. Show the industry what’s possible

How to participate

Share your company’s design-for-recyclability or recycling story, focusing on clear, practical examples of what is being recycled, where it goes, and the impact being achieved.

And don’t forget to include plenty of photos to help bring your story to life.

Submit your story or case study by 5pm, Monday 12 October 2025, to kelly@plastics.org.nz.
